On Thursday, Zach had his cast reinforced. With a clear slate, he had kids at school sign his "new" cast. Last night, Zach and Matt were in bed with Tom watching the Phillies game. Tom looks at the cast and notices quite a few girl names on his cast. The following is a conversation between Tom and Zach regarding this discovery:
Tom: So are any of these girls cute?
Zach: I don't know, Dad. (getting a little upset)
Tom: Do you like any of these girls?
Zach: Why do you always ask these kinds of questions, Dad? (getting more upset)
Tom: Chill out, I'm just kidding around.
Zach: Dad, I don't like Madelyn anymore.
Tom: Why don't you like Madelyn anymore?
Zach: Because she said she wanted to marry me.
Tom: She told you she wanted to marry you?
Zach: No, but she told Courtney and Courtney told me.
Tom: OK.
Zach: Dad, there are a lot of girls who like me.
Tom: How do you know?
Zach: Because Izzie told me a lot of girls like me.
I'm in for it if this is happening on just the third day of school. But really, who wouldn't want to snag this cute little boy who lets his little sister brush his hair?
oh my word, i love that kid! he has always been so grown up but i don't know if i'm okay with him actually growing up. what a handsome boy. he is so sweet and adorable. i love that phillies red!
