One Afternoon

Afternoons can get pretty crazy around here. The boys get home from school and the saga that surrounds homework and piano practicing begins. In between answering questions, practicing spelling words, telling the boys over and over to put their stuff away, and helping them learn a new piece of piano music, I am cooking dinner (most of the time, that is), entertaining Sara and trying to keep Allie from bugging her brothers too much (she's missed them all day!). Today was really not too out of the ordinary. Except I have found something else to entertain Sara: the laundry basket! She has discovered how to take everything out of the basket - even after mommy has folded all the clothes!

Then there's Allie. This is what a TIME OUT turns into at 4:30pm:

Zach hit the nail on the head when he observed how quiet it was when Allie was sleeping. Oh how we love our dear, not so quiet, little Allie!
