May 7th was a BIG day for Matthew! Not only was he a ring bearer at his aunt Lorie's wedding in the morning, but he was BAPTIZED that night! It was a long day, but Uncle Scott was right when he said it was the perfect ending for a perfect day!
Matthew is such an amazing boy! We all love him so much and are so proud of him for wanting to get baptized. He is such a great brother to Allie and Sara and definitely gives Zach a run for his money. His sparkling eyes and adorable smile make my heart both melt and grow stronger every time I look at him.
Grandpa Dave gave a talk on baptism and Grandpa Tom gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. We showed a slide show of Matt's 8 years in between his baptism and confirmation. It was so great watching and listening to everyone as they watched Matt grow up over the past 8 years! We heard "ahh's", "ooh's", and laughter as different pictures appeared.
We topped the event off with MORE food, if you can believe it. After a day of eating at the wedding, we were still hungry!
Congratulations Matt! We love you!
I'm having a really hard time withMatt growing up so quickly. But he still give the best hugs! Never change! I love that boy.
