Gooooooooal

Out of the blue it's soccer season.  School hasn't even started yet and Matt had his first soccer tournament.  He played goalie all but 2 halves and I think has found his niche.  He's a great leader and understands the game really well!  And those are 2 qualities that are pretty important to have as a goalie.  

 

Matt's team took 2nd place in their age division and he only let 3 goals get by him.  And to top it all off, the goalie for the Philadelphia Union, Chis Konopka, was there to sign autographs.  He signed Matt's ball and bag.  Pretty cool!

I have a feeling summer is almost over.  It's been a great summer and I can't wait for all the school craziness to start!
