Matthew

In all that has happened in the last 3 weeks, one VERY important event was slightly overlooked. That VERY important event was Matt's 7th birthday! So I'm sorry Matt for taking so long to post your VERY important day. 7 years have gone by too quickly. I've just blinked and all of a sudden he's a grown up kid. Matt is an amazing little boy. (He's still little to me.) Here are a few facts about him:

Stats: Weight: 65 lbs Height: 4 ft 4 in Shoe size: 4 1/2
Favorite subject: Math, after recess of course.
Favorite meal: Chicken and Broccoli (Aunt Debbie's recipe and I'm NOT kidding!)
Favorite sport: Baseball, of course. But he is starting football this Fall.
Favorite team: Phillies. He knows every player, their number, their stats, line-up, and everything else.
Favorite show: Phineas and Ferb, although Matt's not much of a TV person.
Favorite toy: DS

He melts my heart every time he smiles at me.

We had a great day! We started off with an early baseball game, as we do every Saturday. Matt requested we go to Nifty-Fifty's, a diner with an arcade, for lunch where we all enjoyed delicious shakes. We finished to evening with another baseball game, presents, and a yummy cake!

Matt had the Oreo milkshake. It was delicious!

Matt got Phillies tickets for his birthday. Matt, his friend, and Zach enjoyed hot dogs, nachos and cotton candy! They got to see the Phillies beat the Mets 10-0 and were VERY briefly on Sports Center when they highlighted the game!
