FINALLY! It's the last day of school! We had 3 days added on to the school year after too many days were missed from Hurricane Sandy. Zach, Matt, and Allie had a fantastic school year. There were some big adjustments and major milestones made this past year. They all stepped up and rose to the challenge!
So here are just a few highlights of the year:
New school, new friends, Distinguished Honor Roll, hard core soccer player, dedicated baseball player, 5th grade College Settlement Camp, Elementary School Grad, contacts, shorts in dead of winter, black diamond ski run with Mom (although that's more of an accomplishment for Mom - he did it last year!), all around great kid!
New school, new friends, double digits club, Reading Olympics, Distinguished Honor Roll, Enrichment Math, soccer and baseball stud, wicked Women's Downhill and off course skier, girls, girls, and girls, all around spectacular kid!
Lots of firsts - first day of elementary school, first bus ride, first recess, first field trip, first time skier, first year of piano lessons, first time riding a bike. Learned to read, LOVES soccer and softball, riding her scooter in the cul-de-sac, jumping on the trampoline, still waking on toes, can't wait for violin lessons and first grade!
Let's face it, these are some pretty awesome kids who love school and learning new things, work and play hard, and can't wait for summer begin! I couldn't agree more!
