Another school year is upon us here in the Joachim household. We have a few "firsts" and "lasts" this new school year. To start things off, we have Zach starting 6th grade - his FIRST day of middle school! His eyes lit up when he toured the middle school and saw all the cool things going on, like the cafeteria and PE department. Even I was quite impressed with the PE department - they have spinning and weight rooms!
Matt is starting 5th grade - his LAST year of elementary school! He thinks he is pretty hot stuff being King of the elementary school. But I think it suits him pretty well, don't you think?
Allie is starting FIRST grade! She absolutely loves school! She can't wait to be there all day with her friends and brother. I can't wait to see all the wonderful things she will accomplish this year!
I think we have some kids here who are pretty excited about starting school, don't you think? It was a little strange this year because now that Zach is in middle school, we have a few different start times. Zach's bus comes an hour before these two, so you know it would have been nearly impossible to have everyone ready a full hour early!
Sara could hardly contain her excitement on the FIRST day of preschool! Like the other kids, she loves school and could hardly wait to get started! We just can't get enough of Sara's laugh and smile. She truly lights up everyone around her!
