You might be expecting a post titled "Happy Father's Day" to include pictures about Tom and his breakfast in bed and easy going day. Instead, we spent Father's Day weekend watching Zach and Matt play baseball in the
Bensalem Tournament.
This was Matt's first year playing on a
tournament team and he was so excited to finally have a shirt and hat with his name on it. Matt is an awesome first baseman and hits like a major
leaguer. (I am his mother, you know.)
I'll have to remember to tuck in his draw string next time.
Zach's team returned to the tournament as the defending champions. The only difference is that this year they are a kid-pitch team instead of a coach-pitch team. The team won 3 games to make it to the championship game. They were behind heading into the 6
th inning but were able to tie the game to 4-4, sending it into extra innings. In the top of the 7
th inning, his teammate hit bases clearing double making the score 7-4. Zach was brought in to pitch the 7
th inning. He gave up a run early making the score 7-5. But Zach was able to strike out the last 2 batters to win the game!

In true Brad Lidge fashion, he dropped to his knees and the team ran in and dog piled him.

I love how Zach and Matt support each other. Zach watches all of Matt's games and the same goes for Matt with Zach's games. There's nothing better than watching two brothers cheer each other on.
Zach and Matt watching each other's games.

So what do the girls do when it's HOT outside at the games? Sara strips down and becomes a much happier baby!
Tom wouldn't choose to spend Father's Day any other way. Happy Father's Day!
Those boys are SO AWESOME! I can't wait to see how great they are at baseball when they're even older. It will be neat to watch all the opportunities arise. Love those little girls too!
